Polar Caves Park

Take to the great outdoors – with an emphasis on great! – at Polar Caves Park, home to nine granite boulder caves, boulder mazes, nature trails, and an animal park with fallow deer and ducks.

Here, you’ll mine for gems at Baker River Mining Sluice before finding your way through a boulder maze. You’ll shimmy through well-lit caves so you can take selfies at the Ice Cave, Polar Pinch, the Mysterious Hanging Boulder, and other natural formations. You’ll have a ball – or, should we say, a boulder? Be sure to wear proper gear (good hiking/walking shoes and outdoor wear) and pack a picnic!
